I thought of that as well, but decided that for most OSS projects at least we would know when they are sponsored by a company, on the other hand, it would not be very fair to compare projects like Eclipse or Netbeans to those like Hibernate (before they joined JBoss, that is).</description>

This is a great idea. I just wonder how to differentiate between the two OSS versions? There is often someone paid by a company, but it might not be that obvious like with Eclipse.
So I would like to see only two categories.
So who is going to set this up?</description>
